Olivier Peyrebrune began his musical studies at the Conservatoire National de Region de Bordeaux, where he attended the classes of piano, violin, music and composition.

He then entered the National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Paris in the class of Dominique Merlet, taking first prize in piano with the unanimous congratulations of the jury and two first prizes in chamber music in the classes of Christian Ivaldi, Alain Planès and Bruno Pasquier.

He then joined the development cycle at the Paris Conservatoire in the class of Jacques Rouvier and afterwards he was invited to the prestigious residence Foundation "Theo Lieven" Como (Italy).

He performs as a soloist under the direction of various conductors such as Vitaly Kataev, Jean-Jacques Kantorow, Jaap Schröder, Mark Foster among others, and he was invited to many festivals such as Les Arcs, Piano en Saintonge, Festival of the young soloist Antibes Festival Radio France Montpellier, Flaneries musicales de Reims, Festival du Périgord noir and La Roque d'Anthéron.

Olivier Peyrebrune spends much of his time playing chamber music with the notable violinists Renaud Capuçon, Stéphanie-Marie Degand, Nicolas Dautricourt, cellists Gautier Capuçon, Raphael Chretien. He has recorded for France Musique, France Culture, France Télévision and "Mezzo" as well as many foreign radio stations.

His eclectic discography ranges from Schumann to Britten Chopin, Liszt, Saint-Saëns and even Dorati. His recordings gained many awards (Diapason d'Or, 10 de « Répertoire ») and the « Diapason » magazine said of his last recording "B minor" which was dedicated (with others) to the sonatas in B minor by Chopin and Liszt, "this is a wonderful disc with an interpretation which does take justice to the wishes of the composers."
